Today we visited the Overloon War Cemetery to lay flowers and poppies at the grave of Private Kenneth Jeffrey of the Lincolnshire Regiment 2nd Bn, this is the grave we adopted with the European Jimmy’s Ride, also we handover our donation to the people of Overloon War Chronicles.

Today we were able to make our first donation to the Contacthond Foundation, the second charity we support with the European Jimmy’s Ride.

I visited Tieme and his family today to handover our 2021 European Jimmy’s Ride donation. They were very happy and grateful with the result. We would like to thank everyone who supported the 2021 6th European Jimmy’s Ride in any way and made it such a success again.

The 7th European Jimmy’s Ride will be held next year on Saturday June 18.

In addition to Air4Tieme, the main charity we support with the Ride, Toys for Sofia Children Hospital, and spontaneous actions that come to our attention, we have a new charity this year that we to support with a donation.
The Contact Dog Foundation where our donation will be used, among other things, for the training and use of therapy dogs to help children with a disability or development help backlog.

We have a new date for the 6th European Jimmy Ride

Because of the covid-19 crisis there is no certainty that we will be able to guarantee the European Jimmy’s Ride on June 12th.

This in connection with the applicable rules that are now in place, and there is still no prospect of improvement of all restrictions for us, but also for the Restaurant where we are a guest.

That’s why we’ve decided to move the 6th European Jimmy’s Ride from June 12th to October 9th.

We hope that we will at least be able to continue the 6th European Jimmy’s Ride without any problems, and that it all looks a bit more normal again.

Why this date?

The original Jimmy’s Ride in Lynchburg was traditionally held on the 2nd Saturday of October, which is why we chose this date for our 6th Ride as well.

For this new date we are also going to create a new event page that will replace the current page.That is why everyone will receive a new invitation to this new event page, so that we have a better understanding of who and how many we hope to welcome again.

We had a great tasting with good friends of the Jimmy’s Ride and as a surprise for everyone, our special guest on face time, Alice Bedford and Ed.
